Ferrous bisglycinate is a nutritionallly active chelate of one molecule of ferrous iron covalently bound to two molecules of glycine. It is a highly bioavailable iron supplement. It is highly hygroscopic in nature. It should be stored in tightly closed containers away from the source of heat.

Specifications of Ferrous bisglycinate or Iron Glycinate:
Appearance : Green coloured amorphous Powder, hygroscopic in nature.
Solubility : Soluble in water, practically insoluble in most of the organic solvents like Acetone & Ethanol.
Iron (Fe++) Content: 17.0% – 21.0%.
Nitrogen Content: 9.0 to 11.0%.
